The lighthouse Lindesnes Fyr

A museum, a tourist destination, an attraction and an experience in itself, both in rough and sunny weather.

The lighthouse is a 10 minutes’ drive away, and is one of the most obvious attractions of the area. Norway’s most southern point is a fascinating place in all kinds of weather, but maybe at its best when the storm is raging. The lighthouse was the first built in Norway, and was first lit in 1656.

We recommend a visit at the lighthouse after dark. There is something magical about standing underneath the lighthouse while the beams of light stretches out over the calm sea.
